Bitter or Sweet valentine

So, it heart’s day. It has been 7 months. ‘Been single for 7 mos.. From the time that I have become single, I have found myself happier. Free from stress, free from being paranoid, free from emotional abuse, BASTA I’m free.

I was in a relationship for 7 years.

But, I can’t remember any memorable valentine’s day.

Maybe because, I did not mind it since I was in a long distance relationship then. So, why celebrate?

As I went into the building on Wednesday morning, there were piles of valentine presents in the hallway. There were different displays of flowers, stuffed toys, cards, boxes of chocolate. When I saw those stuffs, I wanted to look away, but I just couldn’t. My heart sank and saddened TT_TT. Then I thought, “Why am I feeling like this?” Ganun pala un, pag in a rel ka, you would not mind kc, everyday valentines, pero pag single ka on a val day, parang nakakainis, kc sila ang may karapatan magcelebrate..heheh ( baka ako lng ang ganun).

I did not notice so many valentines have passed in my life. Can’t remember any thing special about it. And now, should I be saddened? Hmmm… NO WAY!!! I should not.

I’m happy not having someone special to celebrate this day w/. I have the GREATEST ones in my life now.

ps. Had a valentine dinner w/ my sister last night.
