Feelings in the Past

        The sadness is setting in
        The love is gone
        Now I have nothing more important
        You all have left me dimmed

        Why must you always do this to me
        Can you not tell
        How easy it would be
        To just free yourself
        From your mental cell

        I sigh and think
        what would you have done
        without me
        to help you through all your sadness and anger

        We all laugh and cry
        and realize how stupid we've been
        And we know now
        our friendship will never end
