A Sad, Broken Life

Salty tears streamed down her cheeks like rivers
The pain in her heart grew more and more unbearable
All throughout her life,
The world brought her pain and suffering
No more!
She could bear no more!
Each time she tried to take away her life
It came back to her
"Not your time!"
The voices whispered softly and sharply
Eventually she became blind to all joys in life
Fear, pain, sarrow, and hurt was all she knew
What brought upon this great remorse?
People
People bestowed upon her the great agony
Was there no one who could understand her and not hate her?
