The Heartaches Of Pain
By Lynton
You gave me your heart.
You promised that we'll never be apart.
But that's just words that you have spoken.
You couldn't keep your promise now my heart is broken.
You took back what was precious to me.
Now i'm standing here like an old broken tree.
I loved you to the moon and back,
But all you left me with was a heart attack.
We had so much in store,
But you chose to leave when you walked out the door.
I Went against the grain.
Now my heartaches of pain.
I Got nothing left but stitches on my heart.
Trying to keep together what you tore apart,
But how do you fix something that's beyond repairs.
What kills me the most is that you don't even care.
Thinking of you got me going insane.
Now my heartaches of pain.
If only you could hear the silent screams inside my head.
If only you could take back what you said.
My world has no colour, it's not even grey,
It's dead!
No sunshine, no rain.
All that's left is a heartache of pain.
Author Notes: I wrote a poem based on personal experience. I hope you will enjoy.
