ABDUCTION on EVEREST

On that day, the mystery of mysteries happened in the world of mountaineering. A mystery far greater than the disappearance of Mallory and Irvine. A mystery out of the ordinary.

High up on Everest’s North ridge, a pair of climbers, called Paul and Tim, were preparing to make their summit bids.

A third climber, called Pete, was going to stay at camp to watch their progress.

When they were ready, Paul and Tim got underway.

They climbed right to the top of the North ridge and set foot on the Northeast ridge.

The Northeast ridge was certainly not going to be a walk in the park for the climbers. The upper areas of the Northwest face sloped away to the right and the Kangshung face plunged thousands of feet to the left.

So Paul and Tim began to make their way along the ridge, which turned out to be as challenging as it looked. Their only lifelines were the safety ropes, which the Sherpas had put in place.

At one point, they reached the infamous Second Step. There they had to take extra care. The slightest false move would send one, or both of them sliding down the Northwest face.

However, Paul and Tim managed to climb the ladder to the top of the step.

Meanwhile, Pete was watching his friends through a pair of binoculars, when something very strange happened.

A large, circular UFO with blue lights around the edge, flew overhead and hovered above Paul and Tim.

The climbers knew that something was amiss, when the shadow of the UFO fell upon them.

They looked up and stared in fear and disbelief.

As they did so, a circular opening appeared and a tractor beam engulfed them.

The beam pulled the climbers up into the UFO and there was nothing they could do about it.

The UFO then closed again and shot up out of sight.
