Since you left,

I've found peace.

Peace within myself, my home, and my family.

Since you left,

I've found beauty.

Beauty Within nature, the chaos, and the mellow.

Since you left,

I've found my way

To the towering trees, you know how much I love, but now they line a narrow path leading me in a direction far away from you.

And I look back

I look back to try to find you

To see if this path chose you as-well

But it hasn’t, and it won’t, And I know that.

But I still look back,

thats the truth.

there’s beauty in that as well

There is beauty within self-awareness

There is beauty beyond what we had,

And that’s saying a lot

Because what we had was unparalleled.

There is beauty within you

And the way you structure your sentences.

There is beauty in the way that you walk and in the way you uphold yourself,

But it's not for me to appreciate anyone.

But for you.

Find your beauty

Find your peace

Find your path lined with the things you hold dear.

maybe our paths will cross again,

but until then we remain parallel.
