My phone will not quit ringing with his calls, and I don't know what to do.

I delete the messages without listening. My phone rings once more, I glance at it but it doesn't flash his name.

I pick up, and answer the phone.

"Hello?" I ask rather than say.

"Don't hang up," the voice of Braidy says.

"What? Come to tell me how disgusting I am because I wanted to die. Get on with it," my voice shakes.

"I just called to tell you; that I don't care if you have scars because I think you are beautiful anyway."

"If you want to talk you know where to find me." The line goes dead and I crash back into my bed.

Eyes closing in search of sleep.
