Butterflies

A small tingling sensation gripped my stomach

When my eyes met with yours

The shine in the them so bright

it pierced my soul

how fathomless my reality became

how none of it was same

The butterflies fluttered and body tingled

a reckless smile blowing hair and face so blushed

My heart was never so calm yet it exploded

In the moment the room was silent

And my heart pounded

But with the blink the fantasy came crashing

And yet I lived my entire life in the moment

oh, love how I wonder what are you,

You make me feel what I never felt

Make me do what I never did

and make my worth in this universe
