BY RAILWAY THROUGH the MOUNTAINS

By hercules

It was a fine Winters Day in the Swiss Alps.

Seven-year-old James and his father were waiting for a train, in a small town surrounded by mountains.

Jason was getting rather impatient, but he didn’t have to wait much longer.

Around a corner, there came the train.

When the train was in the station, James and his father got on board.

The whistle sounded and the train pulled out of the station.

It was a wonderful ride for James, who was overwhelmed by all that he saw.

The train ran alongside rivers, crossed gorges, passed villages and farms and went through tunnels.

The mountains dominated like giants.

Along the way, the train stopped off at two stations.

Then finally, after many miles, it reached the end of the line.
