Clockwork

By Matt Decker

The dawn's about to break.

Are your dreams yet awake?

That race you face offers lunacy.

The only hope? Opportunity.

You walk the line that leads to nine.

Have you learned it turns on a dime?

The sun's rays shine upon one.

The day's designed to be done.

It's a quarter to two.

You've got a future to do.

You stand before the door to four.

You can stand to do a lot more.

May you meet Fate at the eighth gate.

It's never too late to create.

The eleventh hour has arrived.

You have survived. Tomorrow you thrive.

Relief beneath the midnight glow.

Mind's overgrind begins to slow.

From the rubble of trouble behind

You will rebuild with new blocks of time.
