A love that was bright red
Now it’s black and dead
And everything is all blue
Since we ended me and you
The world once a happy yellow
Every time you said hello
Is now just gloom and gray
The happiness has gone away
I remember like it was yesterday
All our feelings I wished to stay
But now it’s over, it’s gone away
A beautiful rainbow that had lit the sky
Faded quickly when we said good-bye
The broken parts of the beautiful ark
Left the sky all sad and dark
Red, orange, yellow, pink, all out the door
Leaving me black and blue and all sore
How did the days slip away
Until the feelings faded to gray
