Confusing Love Part One

(Atlas's pov.)

"Hey, Alice." I flinch as James calls me be my orginal name. "Or is it Atlas now?" I keep on walking ignoring him. I happily reach my locker only to have it slammed as I open it. Thankfully the bellrings and I have an excuse to run to Biology. I take my seat at the Biology table.

"We have a student who just transfered to this class." I look up and my breath catches in my throat. Smiling wickedly at me is James. "You can sit over there with Atlas, he needs a partner." James walks over, takes the seat beside me, and smiles wickedly over at me.

"Today, we will be taking notes on the life cycle of a heterotroph." We all pull out our notebooks.

"I am so glad we get to work together, ALICE." He says laying emphasis on my name. I feel my hands clench, the blood rushing into my face. I draw my fist back and without realizing punch James straight in the nose.

All I see is red, all I hear is a yelling, and all I feel is tugging as I am pulled away.
