Confusing Love-Part One-Rewrite
By Black Sheep
(Atlas's pov.)
"Hey,Alice." I flinch as James calls me by my dead name, he relishes in the laughs that his groupies give off. I lower my head, keeping my eyes pointed straight at the ground. Quickly I grab my Biology book before my locker is slammed shut. "Hi, Alice." James coos, leaning closer to me. So close I can smell the smoke and achohol that drifts off of him.
The bell rings, echoing through the all ready empty halls. I slide beneath his arm and run towards my Bio class. Ms. Carse isn't in the room yet and for that I am thankful as I take my stool at my otherwise empty Bio table. Ms.Carse walks in with none other than James sneering at me from behind her back.
"We have a transfer today. James take the empty seat beside Atlas." He growls,"hello. Alice." As he takes the seat beside me. The anger boils underneath my skin and I clench my fists, trying to hold it all in. "Alice, are you listening?" I see my fist rise and collide with his nose, I feel the blood pouring over my hands as I punch again and again. I smell the mettallic sent that it sends into the air, I hear the yelling and the intercom buzz.
I don't feel the pain that should be there making my fist throb.

The blood has dried on my knuckles, turning a dark red color, and falling off in flakes onto the hallway floor. I see the purpilish blue bruises that have formed over them. "I am sorry." I snap up and stare across the hall at him. His eyes are turning a deep blue, cheek bleeding a deep red, nose a swollen purple, and face, neck, shirt, and arms clotted with blood.
"I am." He sounds as if he is trying to convince himself not me.
