This is a fine story, You describe the setting and build suspense very well. You also bring in a big contemporary issue, the lithium mining or potential for it.
J.B Thank you, Ian. I made three trips to the lithium Triangle (Chile, Argentina, Bolivia) and the story ocurred to me when I was at the Salar del Hombre Muerto (Dead Man's Salt Lake) at nearly 5,000 above see level.
