Donation-Part Eight

(Sawyer Fincaid's pov.)
The rocks fly out as I pull into my driveway, I shift in my seat, and face towards Calix. "My roomate, Star, her girlfriend is staying this weekend. Are you okay with that?" I smile, questioningly at him. "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I chuckle, rubbing my hands on my pants. "Just wait." He shoots me a concerned look before stepping out of the car and waiting for me.
"In here," Star calls from the kitchen. Star has buzzcut blue hair, two nose peircings, blue eyes, dimples, and she is about 5'4. Star wears a large grey hoodie, knee-high Harry Potter sockes, and gym shorts. "Where is she?" I ask, taking a seat at the kitchen table and pulling Calix down to sit on my lap. He blushes but leans back into my chest. "Dying her hair."
"What are you doing?" She smiles,"making rice krispy treats." I wrap my arms around Calix's waist, he pulls his legs up and crosses them. "Cover your eyes, Star." A loud voice screams from the bathroom. "You better clean up your mess." I say, she groans. Star covers her eyes and a purple haired Kris walks out of the bathroom. Kris is a hispanic 5'8 girl with shoulder length purple hair, green eyes, freckles, and dimples. Kris wears a tight black t-shirt, rainbow pajamma bottoms, and alien patterened socks.
"I feel over dressed." Calix whispers in my ear, I smile, and press a kiss to the back of his neck. "Open," Kris says. Star smiles at her,"it looks good." Star stands on her tiptoes, kissing Kris playfully. "Thank you." She turns to me and my face goes red. "This is your boyfriend?" I nod, she walks over. "I am Kris." I tighten my arms around Calix. "Calix." She nods,"I am not going to mess with him. You need to calm down."
"Mess with me?" Calix asks, looking between us. "I am the reason Sawyer has dated so few people, I always cause promblems apparently." I freeze. I love Kris, I do. Kris just has a big mouth and says whatever pops into her head, it has caused more breakups than I care to admit. "I like you though." She says, tapping Calix's cheek. "You just met me." She nods, "I know but you seem cool enough. "
"How many breakups have you caused?" Calix asks, shifting in my lap. I get the message and loosen my grip. "Lets just say three girls and four guys. Not including the engagement." I glare at her, she smiles evily. "He was an ass. You deserved better." Calix stares at me,"you didn't tell me you were engaged." I sigh,"I didn't see the point." He nods,"um. Where can I put my bag?" I push him off of my lap and take his bag. "Do you want to stay in the guest room or with me?" He smiles,"with you."
"This way." I lead him down to the end of the hall and into my room. "Sorry for the mess." Clothes are littered across the floor and papers overflowing on my desk. He shrugs,"I don't mind." I chuckle and sit his bag down on my unmade bed, before taking a seat on it. "I am sorry I didn't tell you about the engagment. It ended about nine months ago. He was cheating on me, I didn't see it, and Kris made me see it. Gave him a peice of her mind and I called it off. My parents didn't even know we were engaged, thank God." He chuckles,"it is fine."
"I am glad she likes me." I nod, "me too." He kisses me on the head," I want to change into some p.js." I get up and walk out. "Sorry. Did I mess something up?" Kris asks, from the kitchen counter. "No." She smiles,"good. He seems nice enough." I laugh,"he is great."
"Thank you." Calix's voice says from behind me. Calix wears a black long-sleeve shirt, grey sweatpants, and black socks. A knock comes from the living room,"are you expecting someone?" I ask, Kris and Star shake their heads. "Okay, I got it." I swing the door open and my heart stops.
"Surprise." My mom says, wrapping her arms around me and my dad stares at me. "What are you doing here?" My mom sighs,"we want to fix things." She pushes past me, my dad follows.
