The chilling wind blows against me, I pull my jacket tighter around my body, and hold on tight to Calixś hand. He leans against me,shivering slightly. ¨ Can we all bow our heads in a prayer?" I squeeze his hand as I do as the preacher asks. ¨ We would like to thank you lord for these amazing people. The lives they have lead were right and just in your eyes and we are not mourning them today but celebrating their lives that were well spent. Thank you lord, for giving us such great people." He ends the rather short prayer.

¨ Are you ready?¨ I question, smling down at Calix. He smiles,¨ whenever you are.¨ I nod and hold on tighter to his hand as the preacher walks over, eyeing us. ¨It is so good to see you,Sawyer. ¨ I nod,¨you too." He nods,¨I am sorry for your loss. ¨ I smile and he averts his eyes to Calix, Calix shrinks against me. ¨Who is this?¨ He asks, curiosity lighting up his face. ¨This is Calix, my boyfriend.¨ He nods and shakes Calixś hand,¨ it is nice to meet you.¨ Calix smiles,¨ the same to you.¨

He walks off to greet and dismiss the other guests. I lead Calix back to the car and we happily warm ourselves up. ¨ Thank you for coming with me.¨ I lean over and kiss him. He smiles,¨ you are welcome.¨ Calixś phone buzzes, he frowns down at it. ¨ what is it?¨ I question, starting the car and pulling out of the cemetary. ¨Aletris, wants us to come home." I nod,¨we can swing by and get our stuff.¨ He smiles and guickly messages her back.

He curls into my side; head on my shoulder, arms around himself, legs underneath him, and back to the seat in what looks to be an uncomfortable position.
