Donation-Part Two

(Sawyer Fncaid's pov.)

Calix's small body lays in the backseat of my car, his head beneath his hands,hislegs curled up on the seat. I sit down on the concrete waiting for him to come to, once he passed out he didn't wake up. It was four in the afternoon, I was about to be late for work,but I could not wake him up.He groans and sits up, smacking his head on the roof. I jump,"are you okay?" He nods, groaning, and sitting up. I hand him a bottle of water and a sub sandwich.

He drinks and eats slowly. "Thank you,"He says, and I nod. "Of course. A woman called you, I messaged her and told her you were fine." He nods,"thank you." Slowly he tries to get to his feet,I help him, and he smiles. "Do you think you will be good to drive home?" I ask, polietly as I can. "Um- I think so." I smile,"do you want me to follow you?"

He blushs, as I lead him to his car, and help him inside. "Could you?" I nod, even though I know it will make me late for my second job. He gets slowly into the car and I get into mine following him. Calix has deep blue eyes, light pale skin, blond curly hair with blue frosted tips, freckles, a nose peircing, a small moth tatoo on his wrist, and he is about a foot shorter than me at 5'7, I am 5'8.

He pulls into a driveway, a small house with an over flowing garden and a tire swing hanging in a large oak tree. He gestures me to pull in,I pull in behind him, and park. I get out cautiously, he gestures for me to come over. "Would you like to join my sister and I for dinner?" I smile at his nervousness. His hands shaking, blush creeping slowly up his neck, and looking down not meeting my eyes. We grab the groceries form his car.

"I would enjoy that." He takes my hand,leading me up the porch steps, and into the house. "Aletris, I brought a friend for dinner." He says, dragging me into the kitchen. "Since when do you have friends?" He laughs but I can tell the comment bothers him."Hi, I am Sawyer."I say, breaking the tension. We put the groceries away.

"I am Aletris, Calix's sister." She says polietly. She turns to her brother,"Josh is bringing them by before dinner is finished." I wait curiously for an explanation. "Aletris has two daughters; Orchid and Jasmine." I nod, "I like children." She laughs,"okay."

Calix leads me outside and we sit on the porch. "What is your sister cooking?" I ask trying to start a conversation. "Breakfast for dinner." He laughs, "I love that." He nods,"good." A car pools up, a man steps out, and two little girls run out. "Where is she?" The man asks, crossing his arms over his chest. "She doesn't want to see you." Calix says, standing in front of him, and crossing his arm. The man lumbers over him,"get out of my way."

I step in front of Calix,"I think you should go, now." I say, putting a commanding tone into my voice. He scowls but turns and goes. "Thank you,"Calix say to me softly, then turns to the girls.

"This is Orchid," Orchid waves, Orchid seems to be the older of the two. She has long dark wavy hair, green eyes, dimples, and freckles. "This is Jasmine." Jasmine has shoulder length brown hair, dark blue eyes, freckles, and dimples. "Girls, this is my friend Sawyer." I smile at them,they smile back.

"Is this your boyfriend?" He blushes,"no girls lets go eat." I chuckle softly to myself as we walk back into the house and into the kitchen to the sweet smell of breakfast.
