Don't Leave a Doubt
I'm sitting at home, tired and beat
Â
I left a lot of things at the Track Meet
Â
I left my sunglasses, I just got them yesterday
Â
I left a bag of chips, they were Frito Lay
Â
I left my backpack contents full
Â
I left my head, I'm a running fool
Â
I left my lunch that was later vomited
Â
I left chunks on the track that was exhibited
Â
I left a goal that really mattered
Â
I left a time that I battered and shattered
Â
I left with a personal best, a record in the mile
Â
I read the clock, I was in shock, which it brought a smile
Â
My excitement was evident with one shout
Â
The one thing I didn't leave was A DOUBT
.
