Everything ends, the day, the week, the month, the year
Dreams end, some far away and some so very near
Some end to start an even greater begininng
Some find solace in losing, some pride in winning
The end is imminent
The now is prominent
If passion isn't dominant
The future is dormant
Everything ends, in a whisper, in a spark, or in thunder
Dreams end, what could have been- I wonder
Everything ends so appreciate the now
It's in the details, the who and the how
Making it matter-with goals leering at a long-term lense
Succeed in the now because soon after-everything ends
