A Fantasy of the Morning Light

By Mitzi Danielson-Kaslik

Is it wrong to fantasise?

And think of you, in the morning light,

You and me,

In a warm bed,

Intertwined in each other’s,

Loving embrace,

As the sun beams in,

Through the netted curtains,

As we wake,

And French kiss deeply,

And look into each other’s eyes,

Our bodies pressed together,

Oh so tightly,

And pledge to love each other forever.
