Everything is fleeting

Nothing stays the same.

One day you'll wake up

With a completely different aim.

One moment you'll be happy

Nothing can stop you now!

Then the next moment you're sad

Everything goes down.

You'll work your whole life for one moment

You'll save everything you got

Then it happens, then it's over

It's done, you missed your shot.

You'll go to school happy and hopeful

And come back, bawling in the car.

You'll go out with friends and have a blast

Looking like a superstar.

You're the prettiest girl in the world

Until you're not

And that moment has passed.

Now you're alone, sad, and crying

Forgotten and alone.

You love someone today,

You've forgotten them tomorrow.

You're happy and joyful until

Your heart is filled with sorrow.

When you wake up tomorrow,

Your eyes will still have tears

But always remember

Everything is fleeting, nothing stays the same, tomorrow you could wake up with a completely different aim.
