Flower

I once was a flower.
Small and beautiful.
Surrounded by green grass.
It seemed so usual.

You gave me water and food
Through rain and shine.
Gave me a light to follow
And precious precious time.

Then one day you stopped.
Where did you go?
Out of my life.
It felt as cold as snow.

Slowly my petals fall.
One by one.
I thought I lost it all.
Thought I was done.

But you came back one day
And help me up high.
I reached out to you as I said…
