How I never noticed her pain is beyond me
She laid in her bathroom tub, everything stained with her blood
After hearing it, I stood there, frozen
She was the key to all my glee

I thought she was happy, now, she lays in a coffin
As I saw her, my eyes quickly became glassy

All my happiness, like her life, has been stolen
I sadly can imagine her, laying there, inanimate and bloody

When I was weak, she was there to strengthen
She was what kept me going, like my cup of coffee

For weeks, I was bedridden
I was not there for her, I will forever be sorry
