Forgiveness

Forgiveness.

Something so powerful,

something so hard, strong.

And yet it is only a couple of words:

"I forgive you".

Forgiveness is hard,

because of all the pain,

the pain that is still there,

the pain that shaped me.

It's easy to say that sentence,

but hard to mean it.

But sometimes,

forgiveness is all it takes,

to heal those wounds,

those scars,

those friendships,

relationships,

families.

Forgiveness one of the strongest things in the world.
