Your prose is quite good, Kaleigh, but you don't have a story here. This is a scene from, I presume, a much larger work or a simple vignette.
Kat True, it's a small scene from my life - but I wanted to try and describe it in writing. I see what your getting at and will focus more on full - on stories.
