I am alone

Only the night sees me

Sees the hurt

I look up to the stars

Only the stars see my life

See my struggles

See my captors

I add another wound

Only the moon sees the blood run down my arm

Sees the hidden blades

Sees the emotion sink away

I lie awake all night

Only the rain sees my tears

Sees the panic attacks

Sees the lingering danger

I am alone

Only the galaxies are my witnesses

Witnesses to the injustice

Witnesses to the abandonment

I am not strong enough for this

Only the galaxies will be the witnesses to my surrender
