life gives you choices
you can focus on the bad,
or you can see the good
somedays, it seems like the good isn't there
but if you look hard enough
it's there
in the fall leaves and the morning coffee
lunch with best friends,
secrets kept until we die
musical afternoons we never want to end
having a shoulder to learn on when you cry
it's there, in the little moments
the things we take for granted
the little beautiful things that make life worth living
that's why i'm grateful
