Hello Time

By Danieloptera

Time flies.

Where does it fly to?

Now is the only present,

Yesterday just was,

Tomorrow may never come.

What have I done with my time?

Played some,

Studied some,

Worked some,

And of course, lost some.

What do I have to show for it?

Perhaps a job

Perhaps a family

Perhaps material things

But I do love my good memories

Forget the ugly

Does all this matter

Perhaps just to me

Our lives go in circles,

But are we any wiser?

History repeats itself

It just uses other names,

We keep on stumbling

I just hope that my time

Has left a ray of hope to all around me.

Author Notes: Think how short our lives are.
