High Up in Your Tower

By Annabeth Chase

You built yourself a tower

Climbed into its uppermost wing

You were scared to step out

To take a chance

You pushed people away out of fear

Now you're alone in your tower

The floor is cracking

The walls are crumbling

And you're trying to keep it all from falling apart

All on your own

Why don't you just look out the window

Where you could see the people down below

Gazing up at the collapsing tower

Wishing they could do something to help

Before disaster strikes

So come down

While you still have a chance

Before the tower collapses on you

Author Notes: Don't be afraid to make new friends and talk to people, it's better to build bridges then towers
