His Half Formed Smile

By HudaFatima

Oh Me! I am dipped in folly

I don't wanna hurt your feelings

But Darling ! If you must know

it kills my heart to see your eyes

so clear, shiny and bright

Your arms resting by your side

makes my eyes go on to strike

just one more look they scream

and won't let me settle unless they have seen

like a kid staring at a glittery scene

You know how I feel

so tell me the words I wanna hear

Tell me that I make you blush and beam

So Darling ! tell me that you have seen the words

in my eyes floating like a stream

You; walking in circles all around me

laughing and giggling like a teenager bubbling

talking something intelligible and always fixated on your screen

Your warm puffer, hugging you near

And those trainers with your hurried pace

cages you secretly in my gaze

Each time you leave your seat

standing tall with your back at me

my brain pinches my heart and it screams

'won't you look, just once, at me?'

Your half formed smile

takes you away in stride

Author Notes: Just one of those infatuation.
