Hope

By Oxygen

Emily Dickinson once wrote, "hope is a thing with feathers.....". She was referring to a bird. But could hope be a person, an object, a moment, a single second? Could hope be even one word, one sentence? In Greek mythology, when Pandora had released all the pains and horrible creatures and consequences to the world, there was one thing left in the box, hope. But as humans, we tend to make mistakes. We do great things but we also commit horrible actions. Is hope the only thing that can keep you going. What about courage? What about dedication? But when we have finally killed off our earth, will there still be hope? Or will we have to create ourselves?

Author Notes: Will there always be hope in this dark world?
