I am a plane

He stands alone on a cliff, overlooking a quiet town, a place he used to call home. He decides to test the cliff, with a note from his blasted parents, the reason why he's here in the first place. He folds it into a paper plane and watches it as the cool wintery breeze carries it, some distance. Daniel wished at that moment that he was that plane. He spread out his arms, ran forward and flew. He was falling but it felt great, to finally be rid of the world, to lift all that weight off his shoulders. Finally.
