I Still Need You

Well Grandpa, I'll tell you:

Life ain't gonna have perfect directions, I know.

It's gonna have typos.

And it'll be messy.

And it'll not make sense sometimes.

And sometimes it might not be there at all-

Empty

But through it

I'll fix the mistakes,

And clean the messiness,

And get the confusion cleared,

And sometimes make my own directions,

Where it seems unclear.

So Grandpa don't you worry

Don't let go... not yet-

For I'm still figuring things out
