I Trusted You
By TheForgotten
I trusted you,
And I trusted him too,
And when I told you what he did to me,
You swore you wouldn't talk to him anymore,
But you lied,
I saw you two when I walked out the door,
Saw the way he leaned in,
And how you didn't lean away,
I don't think I'll forget that day,
And I watched you laugh,
And him smile,
And I knew that you lied to me,
I should have known you would,
That's just something I didn't want to see,
And I'm not really sure who's betrayal hurts more,
Your's because you're my friend,
Or his because he's done this before,
And it's hard
Because I don't want to be bitter,
Or pull the friend card,
I care about both of you,
And I want you to be happy,
But not around me,
That's something I will not force myself to see,
Not again,
But how could you?
How could you too?
