What is imagination?

Imagination is a river

That runs wild

And free

Imagination is a key

To a magical world

Where you can escape your problems

And be whoever you want to be

Run and dance and skip and laugh

Without a care in the world

But when you get older

Your river of imagination

Becomes smaller

Drying up

In the harsh rocky land called Reality

And we lose our key to this magical world

Our river dries up

And we are stranded in Reality

You have your mind as your boat

But you don't have your river of imagination

To escape

And be free
