Imperfect-Part Five

(Orion Collin's pov.)
"What would you like?" He asks, standing in line at the foodtruck. I point at the nacos, he nods, and says our order. I take my wallet out but he pushes my hand away, shaking his head. He pays, takes our food, and we walk over to the curb. We take a seat and don't talk while we eat.
"How was it?" I nod, pulling out my phone. 'Really good. Thank you, you didn't have to pay.' He smiles, shoving my shoulder lightly. "It is fine. This is my favorite place to eat. I know it isn't a five star resturant but it is the best food around." I nod in agreement and take a sip from my pepsi. "What do you want to do now?" I stare at him,'you want to do something else?' He nods, standing up, and offering me his hand.
"How about a game of laser tag?" I stare at him, slightly shocked. Why does he want to hang out with me? 'Okay.' He smiles, wraps an arm around my shoulders, throws our trash away, and leads me down the sidewalk. "There is a place right down here." He opens the door and leads the way into the glowing room. "Two games." He says to the smiling clerk. She twirls her blond hair between her fingers, leans onto the counter. "Okay." I slip behind him, feeling slightly uncomfortable. He takes my hand, entertwining our fingers. "For my date and I."
My face burns and I feel my body go rigid. She shoves the tickets over the counter. We walk over to a table, waiting for the current game to end. "Sorry about that, she was bothering me. I am obviously not intrested." I nod, cheecks bright red. He lets my hand go and it feels cold. 'It is fine. Just surprised me is all.' He smiles, showing of his pearly white teeth. No wonder that girl was all over him.
"Have you ever played laser tag?" I nod,'once. Before the accident.' He nods, not asking anymore questions, and for that I am grateful. "Our turn." He grabs my hand, dragging me to the door that leads to the course. "Tickets?" The older woman asks. Ren hands them over and we pull the heavy vest things on. "A coulple rules; no teaming up, and no ganging up. Have fun."
We walk into the dark glowing room, he goes right, and I go left.
