Her room was...barren…
She had dark carpets…
stained in blood.
She had a queen sized bed with
a white wooden frame…
Her bedding was blue and flowery.
She had a brown bean bag chair in
the corner.
She had a flatscreen TV hanging
above her dresser.
She...she was lying in bed…
I thought...I thought she was just sleeping…
I couldn’t...I couldn’t see the bottle of pills…
I touched her shoulder...smiling…
She was...so cold…
Too cold…
I hugged her for what felt like hours,
not wanting to let her go…
I just...I just lied there, silent…
Then the sun bled through her curtains…
And I called her parents...
