Great word choice, u can tell a story.
There is a lot going on here about clinging onto the past, loss, mistrust. It's a great tale that tells me that we all have a little superman in our lives somewhere. Sometimes he might be hiding in plain sight.

Khaled Saeed You are so right. The trials of life are so similar to breaking a horse that has never been ridden before; in anguish, it bucks, jumps, panics. Once it learns to deal with the fear and turmoil, the horse grooms into the majestic race winner. The superman in him was never the final winner, but the scared, tormented former self that overcame it all.
