A Kingdom of Our Own

By Mitzi Danielson-Kaslik

Midnight kisses and star filled darkness,

Soft love making in the night, between satin

Sheets, there is such purity in the sweet silence

Of twilight that often I find a soft melody in the

Rustling of the leaves that fall from the trees and

In the song of the birds which soar high above us;

High above the world in which you are mine and

I am yours; Our Kingdom is that of darkness and

Our Castle is that place between the sheets,

Between sleep and wake-ness is the place you

Will find me; I will be waiting, My Love.
