Time’s ticking fast, the days go by, and they don’t last

And the memories just seem to pass us by.

With each new day that we live, society grants our everywish

Yet each second deep inside that passes we die.
 

Do we really know what life is?

Do we really understand?

The choices that we’re faced with

Our freedom that is in our hands

Yet do we really choose

Or is it all just planned

Are we just blending in with the crowd?

Fear rules over strength, I’m stuck within my mind

Nothing else to live for, following the rules blind

No one questions what we’re told, or how we’re meant to feel
