Mind foggy, lost in the smoke.
wanting, wishing, longing for something.

Love, acceptance, belonging. He wanted it with her.

She was what he wanted. He knew from the start.

Her hand in his

He never knew, anything.
he craved her, she loved him.

But they were young, he was cynical, he was damaged.
