Mudslide

By Jozay

Drip drop the rain won't stop,

Falling on the mountain top,

As it soaks through the ground,

Dangers lurking without a sound,

The land gives and it all fall away,

Chaos down where the debris lay,

No sight of what was once there,

Just a devastating land of despair,

The rain keeps falling and the water rises,

Nature's game and there is no prizes,

Rapids form and a river takes place,

The meadow disappears without a trace,

Change is inevitable and unexpected,

It's part of life and can't be deflected.
