my heart pounding

My heart pounding

My head thumping

Wondering where to go next

Wondering what I should do

Should I leave and take away the pain

Should I stay and feel the pain

They said it’s only temporary

It is, isn’t it?

They say I should wear more makeup

They said I need it

They said to take it off

They said I am trying too hard

They said I don’t deserve him

They said I shouldn’t be here

She said stay

I believed her

Yet I didn’t listen

The pain

The pain was just temporary

Its now gone

But so am I

Author Notes: heyyy, sorry for being away for so long I am really stressed out with preparing for GCSE's and trying to prepare for college, but other then that here is a new poem that I have been working on. sorry it's a bit of a sad one but most of my work are. but yeahh hope you like this, and let me know what you think. thank you <3 :)
