A New Friend: Chapter Three

"Diego, no one can know you're demon fae." I say and he nods.
"I know, the man looking at us had an odd aura, though. He made me mad." he rests his forehead against mine.
"Well, Javier and Jimena know. I have to call them." I get off his lap and grab my phone before walking to the kitchen and video calling Javier and Jimena.
"Hey, girl! Whatcha need!?" Jimena asks before picking up a baby.
"You guys- are you okay, Jim?"
"Ugh, fine, Malek is just being annoying. What were you saying?"
"Well, you guys can't tell anyone that Diego is a demon fae."
"We know." Javier says before laughing when Jimena gets tackled by her two little brothers.
"Shit, gotta go. God dammit, Hugo!" she cuts off after that and I say goodbye to Javier.
