Ocean of Smiles or Should I Say Sadness
By Oxygen
I walk or should I say swim
Through the crowd of people
I am splashed in the face by their laughter
And their smiles,
Why am I not smiling?
I washed up into classrooms as a crab is washed up on the shore
But when the sweet sound of the bell arrives
I am swept into the hallways as if I were seaweed
No one seems to notice me.
I am a fish
Following the current of people
I am the breeze quite but strong
I am the sand, I hold my ground no
Matter how strong the waves of people our,
I am the whole ocean.
