Ocean

I used to love the ocean

Discovering it's beautiful secrets

Seeing it's glory

I used to enjoy the happy waves

The joyus wind

Until they betrayed me

The angry gales pushing me into the awaiting arms of the furious waves

Handing me over to the mercy of the chaos

I struggled against it

Fighting for my life

But the sea, once beautiful

Now a monster

Wrapping me in it's cold arms, far from the light

I fought, pleading for mercy

But the angry waves knew no compassion

And so I sunk to the depths,

Manacled in the beauty I once admired
