Oh everlasting love, my fondness for him

The only fault is that he is my friend

Chances of him liking me were very slim

So handsome, I could barely comprehend

His breathtaking light sapphire colored eyes

Like lakes, they are so gorgeous you would melt

And everytime I see him, my heart dies

Broken and in despair, is how I felt

He could make anyone laugh without trying

The way he makes my heart do backflips

Because of him, I’ve gotten great at acting

Luscious is the! word to describe his lips

Yet only you and I know my sorrow

Still, to my life, his presence is like a rainbow

Author Notes: This is a different poem I had to write for English class. I like the other one more but I'm a sucker for romance so yeah. I hope you enjoyed it!
