Under the Covers

“So, you ready to go to the next level?” She snuggled closer to me. I pulled up the blanket.

“Only if you are.” I say back, and accept her snuggle with one of my own.

“It’s gonna get rough, will you be okay?” She looked at me.

“Yeah, I like it rough.” I look back.

“If my parents come in, we will be in a lot of trouble.” I turn my head and start to calculate possibilities.

“That’s a risk I’m willing to take.” She says back.

“Do you think we will finish at the same time?” She asks.

“Depends on how fast I go.” I answer.

“Let’s do this.” She says

We pick up our controllers, and un-pause Mario Kart.
