Protected by Murderers: Chapter Five
By Nugget
“Benedikt did what!?” I roar and my secretary steps back, afraid. “Call him here. NOW!”
“Y-y-yes, s-sir.” she stutters and hurries to her desk.
Ten minutes later, Benedikt opens my office door and stands there.
“Close the door.” I say calmly, even though inside I was pissed the fuck off.
He closes the door and I stand up, grab the bat I have under my desk, and walk up to him.
Before he can say a word I hit him on the head.
“Why the hell did you touch Zariha?” I ask in a whisper and he grunts.
“Not an answer.” I hit him in the stomach.
“She asked me to.” he barely got out.
“No she didn’t.” I beat him with the bat until he was a bloody pulp.
Zariha’s POV
Lev starts wailing and I pick him up.
“Shhhh, it’s okay. Mommy’s here.” I say and kiss his forehead.
He starts falling asleep in my arms and the door opens.
I put my pointer finger up to my lips, in a way of telling Vanya to be quiet.
“I know.” He whispers, and I put Lev in the make-shift crib, then crawl into the massive bed, and curl into a ball.
“Go to sleep, Z.” He whispers and I close my eyes.
