Revival (Αναβίωση)

-From the Meletic Scrolls.

Revival is a symbolic word with many connotations or implications, but in Meleticism it has a philosophical relevance that is the renewal of the soul and the affirmation of the self. It is also the realisation of our virtues and their fulfilment. When describing this form of renewal, it is important to denote that it is a transformation that begins with the self, evolves with the soul and ends with the ousia that is our true essence. In time, we construct what is known as the main temple, which is composed of these three components. Our virtues are inspired by them through a natural process.

This echoes the Meletic concept of conscious evolution, where one's growth in virtue leads to a deeper understanding of (Το Ένα) or the One. The idea of building the main temple aligns with the philosophical approach of integrating these components into a unified self. It's about eliminating the chaos within the mind and finding equilibrium, which is similar to how Meleticism encourages balancing the mind, body and soul. The union of these components within the mind facilitates a clearer understanding of reality, allowing for a profounder connection with the cosmos and To Ena.

This revival is intellectual not religious, because it involves the mental faculties of intellect and consciousness than spiritual faith. It strengthens our minds and purifies our thoughts. It helps us release the burdens that linger inside of our minds and recuperate the balance between chaos and order. Without this balance, life would be difficult to achieve any meaningful revival. In order to revive ourselves in the ontological sense from chaos, we must first shed our former selves. This allows us to be liberated from the chaos that disrupts our order and to be in the centre of our equilibrium.

To better understand what philosophical renewal represents, we should contemplate the reanimation of the interior oneness. Our body retains the self, soul and ousia. The oneness is the mergence of these fundamental elements that reside with the mind. Their correlation is effectuated in the capacity of their function. To Ena is the ultimate reality, but there is also the reality of the material world and its paradigm for existence. As human beings, we are compelled to use our intellect and rationality.

We tend to relate to our world with our thoughts and senses. We discover the meaning to life with something else that is much profounder. It is experience. Its nature is defined by our reality. Our acute observations form our perceptions, and our active consciousness manifests into our interpretations. When we awaken the mind, we awaken the body and soul. Together, they are the driving force that unite us. Without the mind, body and soul, we are divided than united. Thus, we are aware of the magnitude of the cosmos and nature with To Ena.

The mind blossoms into a greater state of thinking. It resembles a universal transcendence that is the true image of animation. The cosmos and nature reanimate themselves through the radiant emanations that flow out of To Ena. So too, we reanimate ourselves throughout the revolving cycle of life. Revival in one means to explore the depth of life and to decipher its bountiful mysteries. It also means to explore the abundance of To Ena. If we do not understand its abundance, then we cannot perceive the intrinsic value that the One possesses.

Life’s meaning is not found solely through rational thought but through experience, which shapes our perceptions and active consciousness. Personal growth, intellectual awakening and personal unity are achievable. Renewal integrates the process of self-transformation with the metaphysical foundation of Meleticism, This reflects the Meletic principle of direct engagement with life and the importance of personal observation, as expressed in the motto, "Observe life, study what you see, then think about what it means."

It is an enlightening odyssey into a vast ocean of thoughts and tidal waves of emotions. In life, there are high peaks that we must climb over and low grounds that we must traverse, until we reach the valley of revival. It is then that life reveals itself before one's truth, and it is a fresh breath of nature. The moment of clarity becomes universal and undeniable. When we walk forth, we see the simplicity of life. This simplicity does not project a thing that is unrealistic. Instead, it is a deeper reality that we consciously examine with our perception. The valley of revival symbolises the moment when clarity comes forth, representing an intellectual and existential breakthrough, one where life in its simplicity, becomes understandable.

The light of day is the contrast to the darkness of the night, but if we ponder the contrast, we would comprehend that one is contingent on the other for its sequence to manifest, like the body is contingent on the mind. To revive oneself does not imply we alter our existence. It means that we provide purpose for our lives and restore the energy and force that we discover we possess with their effects. To Ena reinvigorates us through the self, the soul and the ousia. What is learnt in this process is the unity that each one of them demonstrates and solidifies with their amalgamation.

The presence of To Ena enables our wisdom to reflect the encompassing nature of the One's potentiality. The mind also has the capacity for this potentiality. Revival in the Meletic sense is the ultimate escape from the state of oblivion, obscurity, absence, ignorance, anguish, uncertainty and above all, emptiness. It encapsulates the notion that true revival is not just about returning to life, but about escaping the mental and emotional traps that keep one from realising the fullness of their existence.

In Meleticism, revival is the conscious process of revitalising the mind, body and soul through self-awareness, reflection and connection with To Ena. It is a natural metamorphosis, where an individual sheds old limitations, embraces wisdom and aligns with the flow of existence.

Revival in Meleticism is not a singular event but a continuous state of evolution. It is a deepening awareness of the self and the universe. It balances the mind, body and soul, reaching deeper levels of clarity and tranquility. It is accepting change as a natural process, and understanding that all things transform within the cosmic flow.

Revival is the embodiment of Meletic growth, allowing individuals to continuously refine their understanding of the One and their place within existence. It is the rebirth of thought, clarity of being, and transcendence of past limitations.

Revival in Meleticism refers to the renewal of one's consciousness and understanding through reflection, meditation and engagement with the philosophy’s principles. It is not about returning to old beliefs but about evolving one's awareness in alignment with To Ena and the virtues of Meleticism. This revival happens through intentional contemplation, self-examination and the practice of ethical living, allowing individuals to refresh their perspective and deepen their connection with the ousia (true essence). By embracing revival, one avoids stagnation and instead experiences a dynamic metamorphosis, where growth and wisdom unfold naturally. In this way, Meleticism encourages a renewing journey of enlightenment, rather than a static adherence to established dogma.

Until we are able to escape from these things that burden us, we remain an unwilling hostage to their dominion. To Ena is revival. It revives the soul, the self and the ousia. The revival is an awakening of these elements into their full potentiality, illustrating how Meleticism guides individuals towards a more unified, conscious and virtuous existence. The imagery of reanimation and the cyclical nature of life enriches this idea, making it not just a process of renewal, but a continuous journey towards enlightenment.
